MOSAIC WALL: PANTONE COLOR OF THE YEAR
This install was debuting the Pantone Color of the Year “Classic Blue”. We were provided the 5X7 wall and to was commissioned to create a broken glass/china collage featuring the new pantone color of the year.
THE PROCESS - Clean the wall and adhere primer to it. Next we had to add the glass/china piece by piece. Leaving space to add designer plates and china to the center for a 3D look. All pieces were then sealed together and the wall was cleaned to give it a special shine.
How It Came Together.
It all began with an idea. The Atlanta Apparel Mart wanted to highlight the mosaic trend by using the concept for the 2020 Color of the Year Wall. We worked endlessly to make sure this was a truly beautiful work of art for all to see as they entered the Atlanta Apparel Mart in 2020.
